Service & Repairs

Rustem Gode—Quad Cycles' owner and former chief mechanic of the Turkish national cycling team—does not take bike repair lightly. When your bike needs service, you can rest assured that the expert technicians at Quad Cycles will get the job done quickly, correctly, and for a fair price.

All rates listed below are for labor only; additional parts charges may be required. For a free quote, please stop by the shop during business hours.

Rates

Labor: $85/hour ($5 minimum)

Flat repair: $15 + Cost of Tube ($10*)

*The majority of our tubes cost $10, however there are some exceptions

Tune-up: $80
Tune-ups include: minor truing of wheels; adjustment of bearings, brakes and gears; cleaning frame; lubricating drivetrain and other labor as needed.

Rush delivery (same day): +$40 for tuneups, 25% additional charge for all other labor (except flat repairs)*

* Not available on weekends. All rush services subject to mechanics' availability.

Overhaul: $250
Overhauls include: disassembly of your bicycle; thorough cleaning and inspection of frame; thorough cleaning of drivetrain; reassembly with new cables and housing, bearings and grease as needed. Parts not included.  Suspension bicycles may require an additional charge.

Completed Bike Build (includes cables & housing): $250 (purchased from Quad Cycles), $300 (purchased elsewhere)
Bike builds include: unpacking of all materials; detailed frame inspection; greasing/lubricating/adjusting hubs, headset, bottom bracket, and drivetrain; cable, housing and grip/tape installation; wheel adjustment and truing; brake pad and derailleur alignment; shifter, brake, cockpit, and pedal installation.

Bicycle Boxing & Shipping
Actual shipping and insurance fees are according to FedEx cost calculator. Customer must declare a value for insurance purposes. Insurance mandatory on all bikes over $1000 and on all travel cases.
Box bicycle & ship to anywhere in lower 48 states: $199
Box bicycle for shipping: $100
Assemble bicycle after shipping (includes basic tuneup): $125 (purchased from bicycle shop), $175 (purchased online)

Derailleur adjustment: $15 rear, $15 front
Derailleur installation: $20 rear, $20 front
